Community Chat
One open room for everyone using LifeOS — members and visitors alike. Ask questions, compare setups, and talk to the people building it. Everything here is public; the chat rules explain what that means.
Community chat rules
One global room, open to everyone. A few rules keep it usable — read them once before you join.
This room is public
- Anyone can open this page and read everything in it, including people who are not signed in and search engines that index the page.
- Your display name is shown with every message you send. Pick something you are comfortable having in public.
- Messages are stored for up to 365 days so the room still has history when you come back, then removed.
Never post personal or sensitive information
- Do not post passwords, API keys, payment details, government ID numbers, or anything else you would not put on a billboard.
- Do not post other people's personal information, private messages, or screenshots that contain either.
- If you need to share account details with us, use the private issue report on the Community page — not this room.
How to behave
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content.
- No spam, advertising, referral links, or repeatedly posting the same message.
- No impersonating LifeOS staff, Venturis 13, or another person.
- Stay roughly on topic: LifeOS, how you use it, and what you want us to build.
Guests and members
- A message marked Member was sent from a signed-in LifeOS account, and the name on it is the name on that account.
- Everyone else is a Guest. A guest name is typed in freely and is not verified — treat it as a nickname, not proof of who someone is.
- Nobody in this room speaks for LifeOS unless we say so.
This is not advice, and it is not support
- Nothing said here is financial, legal, tax, or medical advice, from us or from anyone else in the room.
- This room is not a support channel and is not monitored around the clock. For anything that needs a response, use the issue report form.
Moderation
- We can remove any message and block any participant at our discretion, without notice, and we do not have to explain a decision.
- Removed messages stay in our records so we can act on repeat behaviour.
- We keep a pseudonymous identifier for your browser and a one-way hash of your IP address to enforce these rules and limit spam. We do not store your raw IP address.
- To ask for something you posted to be removed, or to report someone else's message, use the issue report form on the Community page.
